Hello and welcome to Headlines of the Heart!  This is not an average blog or website, but it is an extraordinary prayer forum via the internet.  Many years ago, God prompted me to start praying from the headlines of what is going on in the earth.  I have and now I feel led to share this experience with you.  What would happen to us if we stopped just reading the headlines and shaking our head at them, but joined our hands and hearts through the airwaves and prayed about them together.  Not just pray, but pray unique, heart of God touching, sincere prayers.  Prayers that don’t focus on the problem, but the problem solver and the peace giver – God!

I’ll post prayers as led from different headlines in the world each week.  I invite you to join me in prayer via the comments section under each post.  I love how Matthew 18:19-20 in the Message version speaks about this… I mean this. When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there.”

What an awesome promise of Jesus that I plan to stand on.  Won’t you join me on this prayer journey like no other…
