Dear Heavenly Father,

God, I lift up Jason Coffman to you.  The father of Cody Coffman who was murdered in the Thousand Oaks shooting.  I just watched Jason at a press conference and you could feel his pain through the screen.  God, he loved his son and he is hurting now like never before.  God I pray that you would strengthen him right now in the name of Jesus.  Supernatural strength and unexplainable joy in you blankets his life now.  My God – his pain is so real and tragic and I know it’s a pain only you can heal.  Only you can touch, only you can render a balm to it.  So God, that’s my prayer.  Cover him God, heal his heart.  Give him that gift called grace right now and help him to stand strong in you.  God, there are no words right now but HELP.  God I pray that you heal his hurting heart and all of the family members and friends of Cody.  God, they have lost a jewel in the earth and they need peace and grace for the journey ahead.  Help God.  For the families of the other people who were murdered last night God, I pray for their parents and siblings and friends and anyone who had the joy of knowing them.  God please blanket that town and those families with peace and hope for the journey.  I submit them all to your hand and care. Father God we come boldly before your throne of grace and we lay this world at your feet.  We need you…badly.  You said in 2 Chronicles 7:14“If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

God we are humbling ourselves, we are praying, we are seeking your face and turning from our wicked ways.  God We need you.  Our land needs you, our politicians need you, our children need you – we all need you.  Tragedies and natural disasters and evilness is running rampant but Lord we know you have all power so we seek you for help.  For guidance, for safety, for protection, for covering, for joy and for peace.  We need you to blanket us with your grace and mercy.  We need you to shower down love and forgiveness like never before.  We need you to heal our hearts and our land.  Revive us again.  From the inside out. In Jesus Name…Amen.

Father God, I don’t know their names, but I am praying for the parents of Alivia, Xzavier and Mason.  Two days ago they lost three of their precious children all at once.   God please send your comfort to their hearts right now.  God meet them in the midst of their pain and confusion.  God I pray that you would let them know they are not alone.  Words can’t explain why this happened but you are the God of all comfort so I am asking you to comfort them right now in the name of Jesus.  I’m asking you to hold their hearts in the palm of your hands.  To minister to them in a special way God.  I pray for supernatural peace and love to comfort and surround them even now.  God please have mercy on those parents.

For the children on the bus who witnessed this horrific accident I pray that you would heal their troubled minds and thoughts.  Take away the nightmares and the fear and the pain of what they saw on that day.  God send your healing angels to that town to heal hearts and minds and to engulf them with your supernatural love. Words wax cold God but you’re a big God who does amazing things and even in this I pray that you would show up in a big way in their lives.  Healing is their portion.  Forgiveness is their portion.  Peace is their portion In Jesus Name.

Then God, I pray for Alyssa Shepherd.  The 24 year old young lady who was driving.  God I pray that you forgive her and that she forgives herself.  I pray that you would allow the families involved to forgive her as well Lord.  This whole headline is touch God but you are a strong and mighty God who can use even all of this to bless and change lives.  So God I place the whole headline and all involved in your hands.  Move how you deem necessary.  God saturate the whole situation with your love, grace and mercy.  In Jesus name I pray.  Amen!

Father God in the mighty name of Jesus I come boldly before your throne of grace. Please forgive me of all sins I committed willfully and knowingly and then sins I committed and didn’t even realize. Please forgive me and hear my heart’s cry. Right now I lift up Carlos Morales and his family. Father God what a bittersweet moment for him right now. January 16th he was blessed with four beautiful babies and moments later he lost his beloved precious wife. God please heal his heart. Bind up depression and sadness and grief. God please release joy and peace and hope into his life. God I don’t know what he is feeling at this very moment, but you do. Please speak to his heart whatever he needs. God I know you are sovereign and all-knowing and nothing catches you by surprise. So I just ask you right now to show your power in this situation. I thank you for blessing him with financial help from all over this country. I thank you for sending him help from the north, south, east and west. God I pray for a supernatural wisdom to raise these precious babies. Please show him how to speak life and love into the lives of these precious gifts from you. I pray that on sad days they will shower him with love that makes his heart smile. I pray for supernatural strength and energy for him. May he live long and prosper well. God please release creative ideas and witty inventions into his life so he can build a legacy for his sweet family. God please keep away people who mean him no good. Cover him during the lonely times. Surround him with angels that will encamp round about this family. God I pray that these children will rock the world for your glory. Your word says when my Mother and Father forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. God right now they don’t have that precious gift of a mother, but they have an amazing Heavenly Father in you…please hold them in your arms and let them feel your incredible love.
Thank you for Erica’s mom Sondra who has stepped in and is helping Carlos raise these heirs. God I pray they you would renew her like you did Naomi. Please turn her sadness from losing a daughter into joy over four healthy, beautiful grandbabies. Thank you for allowing her to be here and able to give them that motherly love.
God I stand in tip toe anticipation to see how you are going to turn this situation around. I know you are Abba Father, Daddy God and I thank you for being a loving Father, a good Father and for your unconditional and amazing love. I lift this family up to you: Carlos, Tracy, Paisley, Erica, Carlos Jr., and Sondra. God bind their heart to you and to each other. May they feel your love like never before. Overwhelm them with your grace. Shower blessings on them that they don’t have room enough to receive. God send joy and assistance and help from the north south east and west. Please provide continuous help for the Morales family. Put them on the hearts of your people and allow us to bless them out of the abundance you’ve given us. Please move on the hearts of celebrities and executives at Pampers and Huggies and Similac and Evenflo and other baby brands to pour into the lives of this family. I pray that they won’t have to worry about a financial thing. God we are depending on you. They are depending on you.
Help us to lift them up to you as often as you bring them to our remembrance. Just because the story leaves the headlines, let it not leave our hearts. Thank you Lord that in the midst of death you brought forth quadruple life – truly you are an amazing God!
God I even pray blessings on all of the people who have stepped in to help. Whether they sent money, food, diapers or gave their time, I pray a quadruple fold blessing on them. For all they poured out, I pray that you would refill them to overflow so they can bless even more. God bless them indeed. Please let these children grow up to be strong and brave and confident and loved. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Thank you for covering, keeping and guiding this family. Father God,

I stand before you this morning on behalf of the people who are homeless. It’s sometimes easy to forget about them until you wake up in single degree temperatures and realize two homeless people died overnight due to the weather. God your word said the homeless will always be among us, so God I think it’s only right to lift them up to you this morning. God while I thank you for a nice warm home and blankets and covers, I pray a special prayer for those who don’t have those luxuries. God, you are God and I believe we can boldly come before your throne of grace, so that’s just what I’m doing. I’m going to ask you to do what doesn’t seem possible or natural. But God, would you dispatch legions of angels to encamp round about the folks who are living in the streets of cities and countries all over this world. Lord I pray that the angels would literally be invisible heaters as they shield them from the frigid temperatures. I pray that you would infuse those blankets and covers they have to make them like heated blankets. God I pray that homeless people all over this world would feel you and your presence, even if they don’t know you or believe in you yet. God I know you can do more than I can imagine so I’m asking you for the unimaginable. God you are our light and I’m praying during this winter season that you would shine warmth on all those who need natural and spiritual heat. God if you can use two fish and five loaves of bread, show us, your children what you need from us. If we are supposed to drop off hot meals or blankets or shoes or clothes, burden our hearts to continuously be your hands and feet in the earth. Use us God, but please cover these precious hearts with no shelter. Then God, I’m praying for those who have homes, but no heat. God please keep these people miraculously warm. Send your healing angels with warmth in their wings to cover these precious lives. Lord I’m your daughter and you made me this way. I am bold enough in you God to believe you to do the supernatural. You said ask and I am asking you today! I believe you can, I’m asking you to do it. I love you and I’m thankful for you hearing and answering my “unique” prayers. In Jesus name…Amen!

God I repent for not taking this assignment seriously.  You’ve got my attention, I’m listening and I’m responding.  We’ve got to do more than fb, tweet and instagram that we’re praying…we’ve got to get on our knees and actually pray.  That’s what I’m doing God. 

I lift up the state of Massachusetts to you God….the City of Boston.  Yesterday they experienced tragedy.  Three people crossed from time into eternity.  Over 140 were injured God.  You know God, you saw it, and it didn’t catch you by surprise.  I know your grace kept it from being much worse.  God I pray for those family members who lost loved ones yesterday.  Those who are haunted that they never had a chance to say goodbye.  Those who are angry, hurt and confused right now because the one they loved is now gone from their presence.  God I pray for peace to flood their hearts.  I know they may struggle with the how and why, but God, please give them supernatural peace.  Please touch the heart of that mother who lost her child in the explosion.  God, she needs you like never before.  Cover her mind from thoughts and attacks of the enemy.  God touch her heart as she now deals with unspeakable pain and the assignment of burying a child.  I pray for the families of all of those who lost their lives.  I speak comfort and peace to their hearts.  Supernatural peace blankets them right now in the name of Jesus.

 

God, I pray for those who are laying in those hospitals in Boston who are in critical condition.  I pray for their healing.  Physically and spiritually.  Please send your healing angels up and down those hospital hallways and rooms.  Touch the hands and hearts of the doctors and nurses and staff who are caring for all those injured.  God send comfort and peace and hope into the lives of those stretched out in pain, in a daze, in a fog.  Not knowing what happened, but knowing they are still alive.  I pray for supernatural strength and grace for those who had to lose limbs because of those explosions.  God someone ran their last race with two working limbs and their heart will be crushed by that.  But God, I pray that you would overwhelm them with joy even in the midst of.  Let them know they may not have two limbs, but they still have their lives.  I pray that you would grace them to walk out extraordinary lives under new conditions.  Many didn’t know that when they awoke Monday morning that by Monday evening they would not have fully working limbs, they would be covered in blood, that they would be in pain.  But you are a healer and a restorer and a keeper and in the midst of praying for these folks God, I thank you for still being God.  For still being sovereign.  For having an answer to this problem that lies before these people.  Touch their minds, touch their hearts, give them renewed hope and strength.  Cover them from the attacks of the enemy while they are vulnerable right now.

 

God I thank you for those who had minor injuries, and were able to go home.  They didn’t need surgery or a hospital bed.  But I thank you for sparing their lives.  I pray that they now live those lives with renewed purpose and urgency.  Have mercy upon them and grant them guidance as they walk out new steps in life.  Let them realize they survived and they are still here for a purpose.

 

God, everyone who was directly affected by this is going to wake up this morning with a choice.  Whether to turn bitter and live in regret and hurt and pain, or to choose life and to live with renewed zest.  God, it’s my heart’s prayer that they would choose life.  Give them the courage, strength and fortitude to choose life.

 

God I pray for whoever is responsible for hurting so many people through this senseless act.  This is the hardest part.  We as humans want vengeance, but God you said vengeance is yours, so we lay them at your feet.  They have hurt the hearts, minds and lives of so many people today.  You know who they are, why they did it and just when they will be found.  Be with the hearts of the victims.  Please don’t let this bitter their hearts, but compel them to more.  I pray that they awaken tomorrow with renewed brotherhood for mankind, with a renewed sense of purpose.  With gratitude for life on their hearts and minds.  God I just pray for an angelic presence from you to cover the city of Boston and everybody who was directly impacted by the events yesterday at the Boston Marathon. 

 

God thank you for being our Abba Father, our Daddy God.  We run to you Lord like never before.  Seeking direction.  Show us how to pray, who to pray for.  What regions the enemy is planning attacks against and how to circumvent them with our prayers.  We thank you for being a gracious God even in the midst of so much confusion and pain.  Thank you for blanketing our lives with your grace.  Cover us, keep us, guard us and be gracious unto us.  We lay the people of Boston at your feet and ask you to cover them, heal them, forgive them, bless them, restore them, strengthen them and save them.  Them is us.  Them is the world, the US, the doctors, lawyers, preachers, teachers, runners, workers, children, people of the world.  Them just happened to be Boston today.

 

Thank you for hearing my prayer God, but not only for hearing, but for answering.  I thank you God for the right and privilege to speak with you and tell you all about it.  Thank you for an always open line of communication.  Thank you God!  I pray this prayer in the matchless, marvelous name of Jesus! The words of this prayer are covered under the Blood of Jesus and not even readable to the enemy and I thank you for that God! In Jesus Name… Amen!

 

Father God,

Thank you! Thank you for this amazing year you have blessed us to see. A year filled with limitless possibilities.  Another chance to worship you.  Adore you, love on you.  You are beautiful to us.  Our lives are the testament to how great you are.  Thank you for your unconditional love, your amazing grace, your mind-blowing faithfulness.  Thank you God for being you.  For lifting us to high mountains and for escorting us through low valleys.  Thank you God for the grace you gifted us with in 2012 to make it through moments we never thought we could.  Thank you for loving us in spite of us.  Thank you for keeping us from dangers seen and unseen.  Thank you for angelic protection that is encamped round about us.  Your love is mind-blowing and I want to say thank you.  Thank you for knowing all and for being all we could need and so much more. God if nobody told you today, let me tell you you are wonderful!  You’re so great that our mere words wax cold when trying to tell you just how amazing you are.

God we lift up 2013 to you now.  Thank you God for allowing us to see it.  To breathe it and walk in the fullness of it.  We dedicate the year to you Lord God.  Use us, have your way with us.  We volunteer our hands, our hearts, our feet, our mouths and our wills for your service!  God thank you for knowing what the year holds and thank you for allowing us to know you.  I know you want us to draw nigh to you and that’s what we have to do.  God I know the world is evil and sinful, but you do have some righteous in the land.  Have mercy on the world Lord God.  Whatever you allow, please grace us in the process.   Prepare us Lord, show us who to minister to and who to share Christ with.  Show us the open and ready hearts that need to hear the good news. Show us how to tell them and what to say.

God, open the eyes of your people this year.  Supply us with all we need to fulfill your purpose in the earth. Give us vision clarity and a heart of understanding for the lost.  God help us to go after souls like you went after ours.

This year is yours God.  You gave it to us and we give it back to you.  We need you to guide us and direct us.  Order our steps and guide us on this journey called life.

God, we are excited.  We know you’re going to do amazing things this year.  We will complete the assignments you’ve given us so we can bring you glory in the earth.

Thank you for holding our days and hours and minutes in your hand.  Thank you for creating time and not being bound by it.  Thank you that we can trust you with our anxious moments and wandering thoughts.  Thank you for giving peace and carrying us through the storms of life.  God you are more than amazing and we bless your name! Thank you for all that lies ahead.  Teaching moments, learning moments, mountains high and even for your guidance in the midst of uncertainty.

Forever we praise you.  Forever we thank you.  Forever we bless your name.  Many are the plans in our hearts and minds, but we want your will for our lives above all.  Get the glory out of our lives God.  Bless this year you have given us.  We thank you for it and we walk boldly and confidently in it.  With our hands raised in praise and our hearts and minds ready for the journey.

Thank you Jesus for the example of how to live this life day by day.  Thank you for interceding on my behalf along with the Holy Spirit. Thank you Jesus for being my Savior and Big Brother on this journey of another year.  Thank you Holy Spirit for being my constant guide and comforter on this journey of life….for being the awesome Abba Father you are.  For withholding no good thing from us, for showing us how much you love us through disciplining moments.

Good Morning God!

It’s me again, coming boldly before your throne of grace.  I ask right now that you would forgive me of my sins and hear my heart’s prayer.  Jesus and Holy Spirit, please intercede with groans that only you and the Father understand.  Thank you God for always being there and always hearing and answering my prayers.

God, I cry out for America.  Have mercy on us.  I know we are a sinful nation, but I beg of you and plead that you would have mercy on us.  Abraham was bold enough to ask you to spare the city if you could find some righteous in it.  I pray that same prayer God.  Please let the righteous stand in the gap for the unrighteous.  Please don’t punish all because of some.  Have mercy on us God.  Hold back the judgment and the terror and the plots and plans and schemes of the enemy.  Give us more time to get right.  Give us more time to tell others about you.  Give us more time to win more souls for you.  God, I don’t know what the future holds, but I know you and you hold it in your hands.

I cryout MERCY…MERCY…MERCY for the United States of America.  We apologize for putting anything and anyone on your throne.  We repent for making a golden calf out of sin.  We repent for making your Churches businesses, we repent for straying away from your Word.  We repent for not honoring our Fathers and Mothers.  We repent for not taking care of the widows and orphans.  We repent for not being your hands and feet in the earth.  We repent for putting our own agendas before yours.  We repent for calling right wrong and wrong right.  We repent for not protecting innocent children.  We repent for putting your name on anything that has nothing to do with you.  We repent for saying God said, when you didn’t.  We repent for defiling your pure things.  We repent for making preachers, pastors and bishops gods.  We repent for not standing up against the gods of Baal.  We repent for not knowing you like we should.  We repent for not praying more and living right.  We repent for knowing the truth, yet accepting the lies.  We repent God for our disobedience.  We repent and we cry out MERCY….MERCY…MERCY…We repent right now in the name of Jesus!  Have mercy on us God.  We are your people and called by your name.  We humble ourselves in your presence and pray and we seek your face and we will turn from our wicked ways.  You say in 2 Chronicles 7:14 that then you will hear us from heaven and forgive us our sins and heal our land.  We repent God.  We beg of you for mercy on the United States of America.  The entire human race is not wicked and evil, you can still find some righteous among us and on the behalf of the righteous, I beg again God that you would spare us from woes of judgment and have mercy on us.

This is my heart’s prayer to you in the name of Jesus.  The only name by which all men can be saved.  In Jesus name…Amen!

 

Father God,

I boldly approach your throne of grace. First asking for forgiveness for all of the sins I knowingly and unknowingly committed. Please cast them into the sea of forgetfulness, as far as the east is from the west.

I am ever so led to pray for the Olympic athletes from all over this world. Thank you God for such a gathering. A gathering where people from all nations join together on one accord for such an event. I imagine it’s what heaven will look like…all types of people from all over this world…WOW.

God I lay each and every athlete at your feet. Thank you for allowing them to compete. Thank you for giving them the talent and discipline to train an work hard to accomplish their goals. Thank you for blessing many of them on a world stage and allowing them the opportunity to give you all the praise.

When they go home God, life will be different. Many went there, accomplished their dream and are on cloud nine. But many more went there, tried to accomplish their dreams and didn’t. I pray a special prayer right now for them all. God I pray that you would guard their heart and their minds. Let the ones who will go home medal less know that they are still great. Fearfully and wonderfully made in your image. They are awesome and blessed to have even made it that far. I pry that you would give them new dreams and new visions. Even more purpose for their lives. When the enemy comes in their mind like a flood, I pray that you would lift a standard for them. Guide their lives God, please order their steps. Show them you have even more for their lives. God comfort them. Give them joy that happenings can’t touch. Show them in your own special way that you are still a great God and you love them with such a supernatural love. Lift their spirits and bowed down heads. Help them to continue to run on and see what the end will be. God I pray that your light shined so bright in the lives of your Olympic people that it will cause unbelievers to want to know you in a special way. God touch them like only you can.

God I pray for the ones who won medals. I don’t know if they have said thank you, but I want to thank you God on their behalf. Thank you for using them to reignite joy, pride, discipline and stamina to many of us watching. Thank you for giving them an opportunity of a lifetime. Thank you for their boldness to take you up on the offer. God, many need your guidance like never before. Endorsements will pour in and media scrutiny and comments and everything else under the sun and they need you even more now than they needed you before. They need you to show them which way to go, how to do it, how to make it, how to make wise decisions. They need you Lord. I pray that some atheists that stood on that podium accepting a medal got a glimpse and realized there is no way they could have achieved anything without your help. God if you had to use a medal to save someone’s soul – then so be it.

I thank you in advance for lives changed, just because of a sporting event. If you can use a dove and a donkey I know you can use an athletic event on the world’s stage to save somebody’s soul…you’re God and you can do that :0)

God I lift them all up to you. For all that they have poured out over these 17 days, I pray that you would restore them all the more. Thank you God for caring about the big things in our lives as well as the small ones. Thank you for being concerned about every intricate detail of the lives of your people. Thank you for their families who have stood by them and supported them all along the way. Thank you for their support teams. Thank you that you had people all around them to help them on this journey. God please bless those people in a special way.

God I thank you for hearing and answering this prayer. Thank you for covering the Olympic athletes and their families. In Jesus name. Amen.

Father God, we boldly approach your throne through the blessed Name of Jesus.  Thank you for yet again another beautiful day in the land of the living.  I stand in awe of you and your handiwork.  There is none like you in all the earth.  Great and mighty are you Lord.  Thank you for salvation and for forgiving us and for using us and for blessing us.  Thank you!

God we come on behalf of the friends and family of Kile Glover.  God, no one understands the loss of life of this 11 year old child, but You do and we trust You with that decision.  We thank you for his amazing 11 years on the earth.  All he got to see and do and experience.  All the lives his beautiful smile touched…for that we say thank you.  Thank you that he was taught about the Lord at EBC.  Thank you for your amazing grace towards him Lord God.  But now I lift up those left behind.  His mother Tameka, his father Ryan, Usher, and the host of siblings, aunts, uncles and cousins.  God right now there is a huge hole in their heart that only you can fill.  I pray that you would touch them in a mighty special way.  We know the word says that to be  absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, and that is shouting news.  Yet we pray for those who will miss that little body here on earth.

God I thank you for cradling Tameka in your bosom right now.  I thank you for calming her mind and her nerves.  I thank you for consoling her as only you can.  I thank you that she finds her help in you and you alone.  I thank you that you are a strong and ever present help.  Thank you for helping her to keep living and to nurture those other children with an unexplainable love.  I pray for Ryan who is missing a son right now.  I pray for his strength,  and that you would guard his mind from the attacks of the enemies.  I pray that this loss brings the family even closer now.  We speak healing, restoration, forgiveness and love into the hearts of this family.  They know you God and I just pray that they look to you right now Lord.

I pray for them the days and weeks and months and years after they have laid Kile to rest.  When the cameras are gone and the news reporters have stopped reporting.  I pray that they would know and feel you still there.  Still in control, still an ever present help.

I pray healing for the 15 year old young lady who was also hurt.  Please restore her body and heal her from the inside out.

I pray now for Jeffrey Hubbard.  God please forgive him and help him to forgive himself.  I pray that he has an undeniable encounter with you.  If he doesn’t know Jesus as his Lord and personal Savior, I pray that today would be the day that he does.  If he does know Jesus, I pray that his relationship with you is built up even stronger.

God you are sovereign, and you make no mistakes.  We have to trust your will and way.  We love you and we thank you.  Thank you for the life of Kile and the memories that will live on.  Thank you for your love and your grace towards us.  We bless your holy and righteous name and thank you for everything you have done, you’re doing and you promised to do.  It’s in the mighty name of Jesus we pray.  Amen!
